Sharks tooth & Fossil Hunting Tools

I use this most of the time. In shallow water it makes it easy, scoop and sift all in one. Picked it up at Walmart.

These sifters can be used many ways. When I use it, I scoop then dump into my normal sifter. 

These things are great for just about anywhere, beach or creeks, they work great and come in many shapes and sizes. 

A probe pole is a must for creek/river hunting, it allows you to probe under the surface for gravel layers, this one is home made.
